Activities
The St. Andrew's CYO offers a variety of activities for Youth participation through the year.  The activities range from community service events to sports team participation in Diocese of Buffalo Youth Department Leagues. All participation is tracked and recorded which allows each individual Teen to build community service hours, as may be required by individual high scool programs. 

 
Monthly Meetings 

General membership meetings are held September through May (unless a holiday interferes - we meet the first Sunday of each month). Our CYO Leadership Team organizes planning discussions for events or service projects under consideration and refreshments are available during social time after business of the meeting is concluded. Open Gym time is also available.  Each Teen receives an inspirational quote to consider for the coming month. Parents are welcome to chaperone meetings at any time.


Parish Involvement Projects
"Many hands make less work..." There are many opportunities for young people to serve the Parish community. Garden Crew, St. Vincent de Paul, religious ed/faith formation volunteers, music ministry, or greeters to hand out books at Masses are just a few of the things you can do to build service hours.  We can help you find a nitche within the Parish for your particular gifts or talents. 
  
Diocese of Buffalo Youth Department Events
CYO members have the opportunity to participate with Youth from other parishes in Diocese of Buffalo sponsored activities. In addition to the general events offered, past members of our CYO have served on the Youth Department Board, helping to plan youth events for the Diocese.  Read more here.
 
 
Sports Teams
Our CYO participates in a variety of sports activities for both boys and girls.  Some of the activities are co-ed also. We have teams for basketball, softball and volleyball.  Read more here.
 
 
 

Charitable Activities
The CYO organizes a number of activities throughout the year to raise funds for charitable organizations such as Catholic Charities and St. Vincent De Paul.  The events are a fun way to help others in need. Read more here.
 
 
 
 
Social Activities
CYO members particpate in a  number of safe, secure socially oriented events during the year.  Some of these events, such as the Middle school dances, are held as parish services for others, and some, like the Diocesan Youth Convention, allow our Teens to mingle with youth from other parishes.  Each of these events provide our members with responsible experience a variety of social situations. Parish Service Events
As a Catholic organization, the CYO demonstrates our Faith through activities aimed at serving the parish on special occasions.  Our Shadows presentation of the Stations of the Cross is one such activity. Read more here.
